Beverly Jo Scott (B.J. Scott) is a powerhouse rock and blues-rock singer-songwriter born in Deer Park, Alabama, and raised in Bay Minette. After years on the road through New Orleans and California, she settled in Brussels in 1982 and built a thriving European career — while always carrying the Gulf Coast with her. She’s known for her raw, passionate voice, original songwriting, the Janis Joplin tribute Planet Janis, and Swamp Cabaret, her multimedia show focused on the Gulf Coast. Albums like Swamp Cabaret (featuring “Mobile Bay”) and recent singles keep her Southern roots front and center. Come experience this Alabama original at The Red Haven Live on Canal Road — great food, cold drinks, and real Gulf Coast rock and blues in Orange Beach!
