Privacy Policy — The Red Haven Live

The Red Haven Live LLC (“we,” “us”) operates the restaurant and live music venue at 25637 Canal Rd, Units 11 & 12, Orange Beach, AL 36561, our website at theredhavenlive.com, and The Red Haven Live mobile app.

1. Overview Guests can use the website and app without creating an account. We use information mainly to show venue info (schedule, menu, photos, store links) and to send optional alerts about shows and specials.
2. Information we collect
From the app (if you allow it)
- Push notifications: If you allow notifications, we use a device push token (via Apple Push Notification service / Google Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send owner blasts about pop-up shows, specials, and venue updates. You can turn notifications off in your phone settings anytime.
- Location (optional): If you turn on nearby / “welcome when you’re close” features, the app uses your location (including in the background if you choose “Always”) only to detect when you are near The Red Haven Live on Canal Road and to show a local welcome ping. We do not use this to track you around town for advertising.
- On-device storage: The app may keep small preferences on your phone (for example, recent blast history or last nearby-ping time) so features work smoothly.
From the website
- Standard web/server logs that sites typically receive (such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed) if our host or tools record them.
- Anything you voluntarily send us by email or a contact form (name, email, message content).
We do not require guest accounts. The app’s owner tools are for authorized venue staff only and are protected by credentials we control. Do not share those credentials.
3. How we use information
- Run and improve the website and app
- Show schedules, menu, photos, and related venue content
- Send optional push blasts and nearby welcome messages
- Respond to messages you send us
- Meet legal or safety needs if required
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Sharing We use trusted service providers to run the app and site, including:
- Google Firebase / Cloud Messaging (push delivery and related app backend)
- Apple (App Store, push on iPhone)
- Google Play (Android distribution, when available)
- Our website host (Bandzoogle) for theredhavenlive.com
They process data only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the venue, our guests, or others.
5. Kids & family use The Red Haven Live is an all-ages venue. The app is meant as a family-friendly companion for schedules and alerts. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for marketing. Parents can deny location and notification permissions on the device.
6. Alcohol note The venue serves alcohol on-site. The app and website do not sell or deliver alcohol.
7. Your choices
- Deny or revoke notifications and location in your device Settings
- Uninstall the app
- Email us to ask about access or deletion of information you sent us directly
8. Data retention We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above (for example, while you use push alerts, or while we need your email to reply), then delete or de-identify it when it is no longer needed, unless law requires otherwise.
9. Security We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. Changes We may update this policy. The “Effective date” at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site or app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
